FAQ

Flower and Gift Delivery

When will my flowers or gifts be delivered?

Your locally delivered flowers and gifts will usually arrive in the afternoon, from around 12.30pm to 5.00pm. If you require delivery in the morning, please contact us to confirm details.

How much does it cost for delivery?

The delivery fee varies depending on the suburb for delivery. This is calculated when you checkout.

Flowers can be delivered to Ipswich, surrounding suburbs and Brisbane.

What happens if no one is home to receive the delivery?

If no one is home, we will try to find a safe, shady area, away from sunlight, to leave the flowers and gifts. We will leave the flowers with a temporary water source so they can be as fresh as possible during the wait. We recommend the water is refreshed upon movement inside.
If we can’t find a safe, shady area, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery when someone is at the address. This will sometimes mean an additional fee is charged.
To avoid this, please advise on your order, as much delivery information as possible for your recipient.

Sender responsibilities

Please include a contact phone number for the recipient, preferably a mobile number.
It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure the delivery address is correct and accessible.

For hospital deliveries, please provide the Hospital name, and the recipient name. If the recipient has been discharged from hospital, the flowers will be redirected to the recipients current address. This will incur an additional delivery charge, which will vary upon the suburb location and while we endeavour to have this occur on the same day, we cannot guarantee this outcome.

For business deliveries, please provide company name and floor or suite or unit number, and recipients mobile number. The flowers and gifts must be accepted directly by the recipient or colleague, if the front desk or receptionist is unauthorised to accept on their behalf. We reserve the right to contact the recipient at any time to confirm safe arrival and receiving of your gifts.

Local Pick up

You’re welcome to pick up your flowers and gift boxes from our store location at 7 Moores Pocket Road, Tivoli, North Ipswich, Qld, 4305.

It is preferrable that your order is made at least 24 hours prior to your estimated collection time.

What’s the difference between a Bouquet and an Arrangement?

A ‘Bouquet’ consists of a collection of flowers arranged in a hand-tied fashion, wrapped with paper and ribbon. These flowers and foliage are intended to be cut by the recipient and arranged in a vase according to their personal preferences. This can be a very enjoyable experience for those that love arranging flowers themselves.

An ‘Arrangement’ refers to the artful cutting and placement of flowers and foliage by our Florist, these are generally placed in a container base with a water source (floral foam) and requires replenishment with regular water top-ups and flower food sachet provided.

These ‘Arrangements’ are designed for immediate display readiness once presented to the recipient.

How do I care for my flowers?

For optimum flower care we recommend following the instruction card that is provided with each floral purchase.

For optimum flower life, we suggest re-cutting the stems on an angle before placing them in a vase full of fresh water.

We recommend refreshing the water in your vase or arrangement with floral foam daily so the flowers won’t dry out.

Ensure there is no loose debris or foliage below the water line and we suggest re-cutting of stems every few days.

Note: Direct air-conditioning, fans and heat can have an adverse effect on flowers, placement is recommended to be in a cool position away from direct sunlight.

Typically, your flowers life (depending on variety) could be between 3 to 7 days.
