The original 1976 Koonunga Hill Claret is a legendary wine that is still drinking well today. A friendly medium-bodied Shiraz with a rich and vibrant balance of flavours. Sweet plush fruit, raspberry, cranberry, black currant, black forest fruits. The acidity is fresh and lively on the palate with a juicy finish. Flavours of charcuterie and fine grained tannins add structure and balance that carries the fruit well.
